Winter is coming……and it is the perfect time to bring out “Bear” books by Karma Wilson. There are so many great bear books to share with your kids it may be difficult to decide which one to read first! Here are a few of my favorites.
Bear Feels Scared
While bear is walking in the woods he gets lost. Bears friends begin to worry about him so they form a search party for their friend. Eventually they find their friend and return to bear’s cave. The friends cuddle up and fall asleep. Bear feels safe and loved as he snuggles with his friends.
Bear Feels Sick
Poor Bear….he is not feeling well. He is achy, sneezy, and wheezy and he does not feel well at all! Bears friends want to go outside and play but Bear has to stay inside. Bears friends begin to take care of Bear and soon…Bear is feeling better, but……Oh No! Now the friends are feeling sick!
Bear Snores On
Bear is sleeping in his cave. His friends decide to come to visit bear to get out of the snow and icy wind. As the friends enter the cave, Bear continues to snore on. The friends begin to make a snack….Bear Snores On. Then something WAKES BEAR! Read the story to find out what wakes bear, and what happens with Bear and his friends.
